4-9-21  THOUGHTS

A search of the word HOPE in the book of Psalms is surely encouraging. We are the Israel of God.  Gal 6:16   And those who will walk by this rule, peace and mercy [be] upon them, and upon the Israel of God. We each know far too many who are described in  Eph 2:12 [remember] that you were at that time separate from Christ, excluded from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world.  
We have just described the majority of America.  Prov 29:18  Where there is no vision, the people are unrestrained [perish KJV], But happy is he who keeps the law.
God’s VISION for the world is CHRIST JESUS...  
                                     DEATH - BURIAL- and RESURRECTION!
We must pass on our HOPE to a lost and dying world!  

HOPE in the book of Psalms:
Ps 31:24  Be strong and let your heart take courage, All you who hope in the LORD.
Ps 33:18  Behold, the eye of the LORD is on those who fear Him, On those who hope for His lovingkindness,
Ps 33:22  Let Your lovingkindness, O LORD, be upon us, According as we have hoped in You.
Ps 38:15  For I hope in You, O LORD; You will answer, O Lord my God.
Ps 39:7  "And now, Lord, for what do I wait? My hope is in You.
Ps 42:11  Why are you in despair, O my soul? And why have you become disturbed within me? Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God.
Ps 71:5  For You are my hope; O Lord GOD, You are my confidence from my youth.
Ps 119:49   Remember the word to Your servant, In which You have made me hope.
Ps 119:81   My soul languishes for Your salvation; I wait for Your word.
Ps 119:114   You are my hiding place and my shield; I wait for Your word.
Ps 119:116   Sustain me according to Your word, that I may live; And do not let me be ashamed of my hope.
Ps 130:7  O Israel, hope in the LORD; For with the LORD there is lovingkindness, And with Him is abundant redemption.
Ps 131:3  O Israel, hope in the LORD From this time forth and forever.
Ps 146:5  How blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, Whose hope is in the LORD his God,
Ps 147:11  The LORD favors those who fear Him, Those who wait for His lovingkindness.
I cannot imagine living without this HOPE!

My Prayer:
We praise you O God for the hope you have given us in Christ Jesus.  The promise of living with you, O God,  for eternity is precious in our hearts.  Teach us to mourn for the souls of the lost.  We believe, help us to speak.  Renew us O God in physical fellowship as your people here in Rescue.                  In the name of Jesus our Lord,        Amen
